I’m a documentary producer and video editor with a background in print journalism. I’ve always been motivated to tell compelling stories about dynamic people and eager to chisel out a strong, focused narrative from a mountain of hard drives.
I grew up in Los Angeles in a family of storytellers. Both my dad and older brother are film editors, my mom was a writer and public school English teacher. My career began in print journalism — as a feature writer and, later, as managing editor of three award-winning Seattle-based magazines.
Whether I’m producing for a television documentary or editing for a museum installation or branded content, I believe the best stories are the ones we can all relate to.
